Black Stroke

Mariana Tkachuk is the tattoo artist and founder of Black Stroke in Gdańsk. With an arts education focused on conservation and restoration, she brings drawing, composition and attention to detail from traditional art into tattooing.

She created Black Stroke as her own space for art and individual stories. From black & grey and realism to graphic, illustrative work and color accents — every project starts with its own idea.

NOT JUST INK.SOMETHING PERSONAL.

BLACK STROKE · STORY

FROM SKETCHTO WALL.

This wall is more than decoration.
Mariana drew it by hand.

It began as a sketch, then moved directly onto the wall of Black Stroke — line by line, layer by layer. Today it is part of the studio's character.

Clients sometimes ask: “Did you draw this?”

Yes.

ART STAYS WITH ME AT EVERY STAGE.
