Give your old tattoo a new life. I create individual cover up designs that work with the existing tattoo and transform it into a completely new composition.
01 · COVER UP
A tattoo you no longer like, an old design or a piece that simply no longer feels like you can often be completely transformed.
A cover up is not simply about hiding an old tattoo beneath dark pigment. The new design is created around the existing lines, colours, shape and placement on the body.
Every case is approached individually so that the finished piece looks like a deliberately designed tattoo rather than an attempt to hide the previous one.
02 · BEFORE / AFTER
Every cover up begins with a different challenge. See how existing tattoos can become the starting point for completely new pieces.

03 · PROCESS
Send me a clear photo of your current tattoo and tell me what you would like to change. We will discuss your idea and the direction of the new piece.
I assess the size, pigment, colour, placement and the possibilities for incorporating and covering the existing tattoo.
I create an individual composition adapted to the existing tattoo, your anatomy and the character of the new piece.
The new tattoo is created so that the old design is naturally incorporated into a completely new composition.
04 · POSSIBILITIES
Whether a tattoo can be successfully covered depends on factors such as its size, colour, pigment saturation and placement on the body.
The new design usually needs to be larger than the existing tattoo and use darker elements of the composition in the right places.
In some cases, partially lightening the old tattoo with laser treatment can be helpful. However, this is not necessary for every cover up.
05 · FAQ
Not every tattoo offers the same possibilities. Its size, colour, pigment saturation, scars and placement all matter. Every case is assessed individually.
In most cases, yes. A larger composition gives more freedom to use darker elements and naturally incorporate the existing tattoo into the new design.
Not always. In some cases, lightening parts of the existing tattoo with laser treatment can provide more design possibilities, but it is not necessary for every cover up.
It depends on the amount and saturation of the existing pigment. Very dark tattoos require an appropriately planned composition, and sometimes partial laser lightening may be helpful.
The price depends on the size, colour and pigment saturation of the existing tattoo as well as the complexity of the new design. Every cover up is priced individually after I see a photo of the current tattoo. The initial consultation is free.
Send me a clear, current photo of your tattoo and briefly describe what you would like to change and what kind of result you have in mind. From there, we can discuss the possibilities for your cover up.
